Fall Seemester 2023-2024
Government Standard 1: Authority and Governance 5. The student leader contributes to committees and if councils and recognizes how the committees and or councils benefit the leadership team. At this Camp I went to over the summer I was put into a council where we talked about what can or would benefit the leadership class at our school, so we talked about the school clubs and the commissioners in our class how they are very important to the class and how they benefit the ASB. |

Personal & Social Development
Standard 3: Social and Emotional Learning 1. The student leader identifies emotions, thoughts, and values that impact behavior and self-efficiency. On July 26, Leadership had their development day. There I continued to learned about the four different leadership personalities types. I am a green where my personality is an independent and focused person. But I also learned what I need to improve on. I hate to admit it but I can agree with my colored personality, and because of that I can focus on my strengths to help my class. |
Civic & Service Learning
Standard 1: Civic and Community Engagement 3. The student leader recognizes the value of membership in, and/or partnership with, associations - groups of people organized for a joint purpose. November 3, 2023, I volunteered at a Marine Corp ball. It was a fun and educational experience, the only thing that went wrong that night was when I almost dropped the U.S Flag. As a volunteer I helped set up for the event, and helped checked all the people/veterans in. |
Business And Finance
Standard 1: Finance/Accounting 5. The student leader maintains accurate and accessible financial document. I am THS Junior class treasure which means I am in-charge of keeping track of my classes budget. I opened up an account with our bookkeeper Ms. Williams, which now I use the login I made to check the class account. I see what money comes in and out and where the money comes from and where it goes. This is important because it keeps the ASB council and the rest of the class updated on each classes budget. |
Commination
Standard 7: Interpersonal Skills 8. Strong leaders posses exceptional interpersonal skills that focus on active listening, taking the initiative, and collaborating positively. Over the summer I participated in another CADA Camp that was the duration of 4 days. In that camp I was put in to council 1 were I sat and listened to how I can make my leadership class, we talked about the prod and cons of each of our classes and talked together on ho we can make it better. At the end of the camp it was my councils job to go and lead another council with a partner, The individual I paired was shy so I took lead and led the council alone through conversation and some fun activities, this really helped me not only to do something that scares me but also taught me on what it takes to be a good leader. |
Technology & Digital Citizenship Standard 3: Audio/Visual Presentation 2. The student leader creates an inclusive audio/visual environment that is accessible to all audience members. Not too long ago I made an Instagram for my photography, because I love taking photos and editing them. Some of these are pictures form my families adventures they gave to me and some are ones I took and edited. Each post tells a different story and I made this account to be myself and just share all the different adventures for those who are not able to see the world like me. |
